And the Award goes to…

February 24, 2010

I’d like to thank my fans, the academy, my husband and God for this cocktail:

Root and All

2 oz Madeira (I went with rich instead of rainwater, but either would be fine)
.25 oz Stone’s Ginger
.5 oz Rosemary vodka*

Shake with ice and strain. Enjoy

*Take two to four lemon peels,  two to four orange peels and four or five stalks of rosemary and submerge in one liter of vodka. Store in a cool dark place for 3 to 5 days and then stash in freezer for use.
